1963
Deeply rooted in the history of Berks County, Grafika was founded in 1963 as a humble silk screen printer by Bernard J. Elzer, Sr., and two partners.

1978
In 1978, the illustrious Berkshire International (and subsequently, VF Corporation) purchased the business. It was known as Grafika Commercial Arts, Inc. from 1978 to 1984. During this time period, Grafika experienced tremendous growth and began offering quality offset printing and related services.

1985
By 1985, Grafika reached a total employment of over 130 from their simple beginnings with only 12 employees.

1990
In 1990, the company was acquired by a group of investors headed by Bernard Elzer, Jr. At this time, Grafika expanded into its current location, a 125,000 square foot facility at 710 Johnston Street, Sinking Spring, PA.

2008
In 2008, Grafika bought out the remaining shareholders except for Bernard Elzer, Jr., CEO and Bernard Elzer III, President and COO, and one other remaining shareholder.

2011
In continuing the family tradition, Bernard Elzer, Jr. retired and sold his shares to Bernard Elzer III in 2011. Today, Bernie is the majority shareholder as President and CEO, lending three generations of leadership and experience to the business. He and the Grafika team are committed to continuing in the tradition of partnering with customers to help meet their needs.
